What we collect

When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we receive your name, email address and message. We also receive your company, if you give it, and whether you used the English or Chinese page. When you email or phone us, we receive whatever you choose to tell us.

If you accept our cookie banner, Google Analytics records which pages you view, the site that referred you, and general information about your browser, device and rough location. If you reject it, or do not answer, nothing loads from Google at all. This website uses no advertising trackers. Our hosting provider processes technical information such as your IP address and browser so that it can deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks.

How we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to plan and deliver your event or project. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

Our lawful basis

Replying to an enquiry you have sent us is in our legitimate interests. If you ask us for a quote or to take on work, we use your information to take the steps you have asked for before a contract. Once there is one, we use it to carry out the work. Analytics runs only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who handles it for us

These companies act on our instructions. Some of them process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on safeguards recognised by UK data protection law. Examples are the UK International Data Transfer Addendum and the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

If an enquiry does not lead to work, we delete it within two years of our last contact with you. If it does, we keep the related records for six years after the work ends, as UK law requires for business and tax records.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_<id>, which tell a return visit from a new one and last up to two years. They are set only after you click Accept. Your Accept or Reject choice is remembered in your browser's local storage, not a cookie. To change your mind, use the "Cookie preferences" button at the bottom of any page; rejecting deletes the analytics cookies.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you. You can also ask us to correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or stop using it. You can also ask for it in a form you can take elsewhere. Contact us using the details above and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
